Spring is beautiful season to visit the Cowell-Purisima Trail, a 3.6-mile gently graded path just 10 minutes south of Half Moon Bay. As you walk along the trail, you will be greeted by the blooming mustard fields radiating in golden hues on one side, contrasting beautifully with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean on the other. A trip here is both invigorating and serene, offering a perfect escape for hiking, running, biking, or simply unwinding in nature.

Tips
- Parking is available at both the northern and southern trailheads, but spots fill up quickly. If the lots are full, try parking along the roadside and walking to the trailhead. You are more likely to find pots near the northern trailhead.
- The trail is open daily from 8 am to 5 pm. The gate closes promptly at 5 pm, so make sure to time your visit accordingly.
