Fuji-michi, or “Fuji road”, is a quaint street running through the center of Fujiyoshida and ultimately leading to Mount Fuji at the far end. Once a bustling commercial district, most of the stores are now vacant. The abandoned street look, lined with old signboards and traditional lanterns with Mount Fuji in the backdrop, gives a retro vibe and a perfect photo op.

Tips:
- This popular intersection is only 10-15 minutes by foot from the Shimoyoshida station.
- Stay off the center of the road or traffic while taking photos. Great memories do not need be built upon violating traffic laws nor contributing to unnecessary overhead on the traffic control staff.
- Pay visit to the coffee or matcha shops to support local communities.
